Our Distance Learning Programs
|
Credits and Alliances
Government and commercial customers can take advantage of equivalency programs, custom-developed training projects, or corporate Web site portals. Many government agencies and licensing/certifying organizations accept our courses as equivalent, acceptable credit within their internal systems. Upon successful completion of our courses, you will earn CEUs, CLPs, or other professional development hours that can be applied toward your career needs. Defense Acquisition Workforce Continuous Learning Policy Acquisition workforce employees must earn a total of 80 Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) every two years. All of our distance learning certificate programs are approved for CLPs at the rate of 1 CEU = 10 CLPs. Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and The University of Alabama in Huntsville Strategic Alliance A strategic alliance between UAH Division of continuing Education and DAU makes it easier for you to complete some of our certificate programs. By granting equivalency to Department of Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (ATL) employees who have completed DAU ACQ101, Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management, we shortened the number of courses you are required to take in several programs, bringing you once step closer to completing a certificate. Our distance learning certificate programs eligible for ACQ101 equivalency are: Systems Engineering - equivalency of Systems Engineering Overview
Test and Evaluation - equivalency of Principles of Test and Evaluation
Federal Contract Management Essentials (FCME) - equivalency of Part 1 of 3 consisting of Understanding the Government Procurement System AND Contract Types and Structuring. |
